Only a very limited amount of wine is made for these events by the top producers in the region, and the very top cuvées fetch extraordinarily high prices. A unique opportunity to try a mature example from these very high quality burgundies. The magnums in particular are very special, and a fine example of really high quality red burgundy from a very good vintage in the Cote de Nuits.

About Hospices de Nuits
The Hospices de Nuits is a charitable foundation established in 1692 in Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits district. Like the much larger Hospices in Beaune the Hospices de Nuits is endowed with vines, about 22 acres in Nuits-St-Georges and Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru, and holds an auction each year to raise money for the foundation. This takes place on the Sunday preceding Palm Sunday, following a tasting at the Clos de Vougeot. The wines are invariably of high quality and because of their rarity can fetch extremely high price tags.
Prices are all-inclusive for deliveries to UK mainland. Minimum total order is 1 case (12 bottles of 75cl equivalent) for the UK and 2 cases (24 bottles of 75cl equivalent) for Northern Ireland, Highlands and islands.
