Château Méaume Reserve du Château Bordeaux Superieur

2003
(in wooden cases)

Alan Johnson-Hill only makes the Reserve du Château at Château Méaume in really good years—it is the pick of his crop and is aged in second year barrels bought from the legendary Le Pin in Pomerol. This is a very good Claret from the sumptiously ripe 2003 vintage. Exceptional value for money—and in wooden case.

About Château Méaume
Château Méaume lies just north of Pomerol and has been the home of Alan & Sue Johnson-Hill and countless animals since the early 1980's. Everything is done by hand and their wines are organic in all but name—the only fertlizers used is the manure from their cows etc. Their achievement in making really good quality Reds and a first rate Rosé that sell for far below what they should is now legendary.
