Château Méaume Rosé | Bordeaux
2009
SOLD OUTChâteau Méaume's Rosé is just about the best Rosé made in Bordeaux. It is free-run juice from the red grapes after about 36 hours and so is a wonderful salmon-pink colour. Lots of flavour from the great 2009 vintage and very good value.
Our tasting notes
Aromas of peaches and summer fruits, lots of flavour but not at all overpowering. The success of the 2009 vintage is more than apparent. A delicious summer wine that will go very well with mildly spicy food.Wine data

About Château Méaume
Château Méaume lies just north of Pomerol and has been the home of Alan and Sue Johnson-Hill and countless animals since the early 1980's. Everything is done by hand and their wines are organic in all but name—the only fertlizers used is the manure from their cows etc. Their achievement in making really good quality Reds and a first rate Rosé that sell for far below what they should is now legendary.
