2019 Hermitage 'La Maison Bleue', Paul Jaboulet Aîné (magnums)
Available En Primeur
"Beautiful cassis, truffle, damp earth, and ground pepper emerge from the 2019 Hermitage La Maison Bleue. Coming from the eastern portion of Hermitage Hill, it hits the palate withfull-bodied richness, a rounded, opulent texture, building tannins, and a great finish. It's certainly in the same league (and style) as the 2018, and while it's going to drink nicely at a young age, my money is on it evolving gracefully for 20-25 years."

Paul Jaboulet Ainé is a legendary Northern Rhône producer that has been lifted back to its former glory - and then some - by its new owner, Bordelaise Caroline Frey of Château La Lagune. This is an estate that has not put a foot wrong since the change of ownership in 2006, and a source of both some of the very finest reds in the world, and some of the best value in the region.
