La Ghirlanda Bindi Sergardi, Chianti Classico 2015

75cl bottle: £14.95

Case of 12 75cl bottles: £179.40

A very high quality Chianti Classico made from Sangiovese and a small amount of complementary varietals. Aged in old oak barriques for 10-15 months, this is a complex and delightful wine with quality that belies its very affordable price point. It will improve for another 5 years but will drink beautifully now, ideally with red meats or mature cheeses.

Our Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red in colour; an ample and complex bouquet, with distinct notes of spice, flowers and of fresh fruit; and an impressive soft, elegant and well-structured palate that maintains the freshness typical both of Chianti and of Sangiovese. Decant now or keep for up to 5 years.
