Great Chablis from 'French Wine Producer of The Year 2018'

There are a number of growers in this cooperative and they are now vinifying the different styles of terroir separately to make a number of cuvées. From these, we have selected the Sereine cuvée which comes from plots which all touch the Sereine river. This is elegant, with excellent structure and a superb finish. The wine (2015 vintage) also won Silver 'Outstanding' at the IWSC.

Chablis is the northernmost territory and appellation of the Burgundy region, with a reputation for pure crystalline white wines with bouquet of exotic fruits an apple. This wine will be perfect as an aperitif or with fish, white meat and many vegetable dishes.

Our Tasting Notes

The bouquet opens with aromas of fresh, slightly vanilla scented white-fleshed fruit. Well-structured in the mouth, which is both complex and refreshing thanks to clear-cut fruit and fine acidity. An excellent long finish.
