The Palm by Whispering Angel, Château d'Esclans, Provence 2020
Special offer - Save £12 per case
"The 2020 The Palm is Ch. dEsclans entry level wine and if you can get past its gopping French-hooker-boudoir packaging, youll love it. A typical blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, its a beguiling pale pink, ripe, juicy and ridiculously quaffable. Its the quintessential vin de soif."
Jonathan Ray, The Spectator Magazine
It is Calypso time as we offer the latest vintage of Sacha Lichine's most recent rosé creation, The Palm by Whispering Angel. With a distinct Caribbean feel to it, it is effortlessly chic but with a summery twist. Crafted with the best grapes from Provence - grenache, cinsault, syrah and carignan - The Palm has all the hallmarks of a top quality Provencal rosé, light wild salmon pink, fresh, dry, elegant and crisp, but with a more pronounced tropical fruit flavour than Whispering Angel. Delicious on a hot day!
On a sunny spring day, put on a Bermuda shirt, switch on the music, dance and think of Jamaican sunshine and the crystal blue ocean and The Palm, Whispering Angel's fun loving little sister.
How does the wine taste?
Light pink with a tinge of orange. Exotic tropical fruits with a hint of strawberry. Very easy to drink and only 13% alcohol. An all round rosé that everyone will enjoy.
