Long famous for the quality of its wines, Château Fonréaud is a prestigious Cru Bourgeois Supérieur located in the commune of Listrac-Medoc. The elegance and charm of this great wine reflect the spirit of the Chanfreau family who explained the other day to us that the wine, which we thought is drinking beautifully now still has another 5-7 years drinking ahead of it. For a wine from this wonderful vintage and from such a quality driven producer, the price tag is unbelievable.

Our Tasting Notes

Round, full-bodied and smooth, with very ripe tannin and a wonderful balance of aged tobacco and leather while maintaining a delicate feel. It spreads out deliciously on the palate and has an excellent structure.
