The Domaine Les Grands Bois is located in the heart of the Southern Rhône. The vineyard has been producing high quality wines since 1920 and Marc and Mireille Besnardeau continue this tradition. These vines grow fantastically well in chalky clay soil.

"The entry level red is the 2014 Côtes du Rhône Les Trois Soeurs. Made from 65% Grenache, 30% Syrah and the rest Carignan, completely destemmed and aged all in tank, it gives up a medium to full-bodied, nicely textured profile as well as classic dark, peppery fruits, roasted herbs and smoked meat. This beauty sells for a song and will put a smile on your face anytime over the coming year or three." - 2016-2019 Jeb Dunnuck, on Vintage 2014

"A terrific Cairanne and Côtes-du-Rhône based estate, Domaine Les Grands Bois appears capable of fashioning outstanding wines regardless of the vintage. Their 2013s showed beautifully last year, and their 2014s are every bit as good this year. In addition to consistent quality, the prices remain more than reasonable." - eRobertParker on Vintage 2013 and 2014
