We have just secured a very special parcel of two vintages of Domaine de Saint Guiron from Pauillac - Bordeaux’s most fashionable and expensive address. The wine is made from vines within the Grand Puy Lacoste Estate by Xavier Borie and his winemaking team. It is a special bottling that enjoys the same pedigree of fruit, terroir and meticulous winemaking as Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste itself. The 2014 from a very good Pauillac vintage is just reaching maturity now (with a good 5-7 years ahead of it)– it is a beautifully balanced rich wine with that unique Pauillac star appeal

Brooding garnet in colour with aromas of red and stone fruits, with a touch leather and vanilla. A rick fruit driven wine supported by soft tannins and just the right amount of acidity. Excellent Claret from an excellent vintage
