Château Ramafort 2015 has arrived and is our new star claret and a worthy successor to the 2010 vintage of which we have sold over 3,000 cases over the last few years. We tasted all the in-between vintages – 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 alongside the 2015 and the 2015 stood out by some way and was the closest in terms of style and taste to the 2010.
Will the 2015 be as good as the 2010 which currently has five years more bottle age? My view on tasting is was that it is as good now – and may well be better as it matures. 2015 was another great vintage with the better wines like Ramafort being ripe and forward and drinking really well already.
