The fine 2015 vintage of our star claret Château Ramafort continues the success of the 2010 vintage (where we sold over 3,000 cases). We tasted the 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 against the 2015 vintage and the 2015 of this lovely cru bourgeois claret was the clear winner.
An extract from my tasting note "a complete and complex claret with ripe red fruit with a hint of spice, leather and tobacco backed up my strong silky tannis. Delicious now and it will only get better."
The wine arrived directly from the château's vineyards on the highest plateau of the Medoc, just north of Saint-Estèphe and its pedigree is immaculate having been previously owned by Château Lafite Rothschild.
