Fine Festive Claret & White Burgundy Case
In this mixed case, you will receive six bottles each of the following wines;
2010 Château Laroche Bel Air, Côtes de Bordeaux
Choose the 2010 Château Laroche Bel Air this festive season and you choose the ideal Christmas allrounder claret. It’s all here. From the most stellar 2010 vintage (now at peak drinking maturity) and a luxurious merlot-dominant blend from the Saint-Émilion environs (Côtes de Bordeaux) that will pair beautifully with pretty much anything on the Yuletide table: roast chicken, turkey, fowl, roast gammon, beef, pork shoulder, game, charcuterie or leg of lamb - Château Laroche is the sumptuous complement to all flavours. And with such a rich, evolved fruit profile, utterly delicious on its own.
2018 Mâcon-Azé 'Vieilles Vignes', Les Reflets d'Ambre
This Mâcon Azé punches well above its weight. The warmth of the highly-rated 2018 vintage is evident in this latest release, with the orchard fruit character a little more prominent than in previous vintages. The Reflets d’Ambre is produced with fruit from the Domaine's older vines, offering greater intensity and depth of flavour, enhanced further by a little aging on the lees and time in fine, French oak barrels. There's a light, golden tint in the glass with aromas of clove, spice, and toasted brioche; the palate is laden with ripe, expansive citrus and orchard fruit flavours and a lingering finish. Wines hailing from specific villages in the Mâconnais are becoming some of the best-value around and this is an absolute gem.
