Crémant de Bourgogne Brut 'Cuvée Millésimée' Cave de Lugny 2018
This vintage Crémant de Bourgogne 2018 from Saincharny is in my view better than a great many champagnes. And not only is the vintage now on its way to our warehouse, but with its smart new label design looks ever more the part.
Saincharny make their crémant in the same way and from the same grape varieties as champagne, but in less expensive neighbouring Burgundy and at one of the best winemaking cooperatives in France, the Caves de Lugny of Mâcon. When we first discovered it nearly 15 years ago, we couldn’t believe our luck. It never disappoints. Its quality is outstanding with every vintage.
