Greenhough

In late 1990, Andrew Greenhough and Jenny Wheeler moved from Auckland to Nelson and purchased a four hectare property which had been established in the 70's as a small vineyard and winery. In the intervening years the vineyard has been expanded to 11 hectares, with the original plantings having been largely redeveloped and the winery modernised. A small block of much valued Riesling, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc vines, now over 30 years old, remains. The Greenhough Winery in 2011 received full BioGro certification for sustainable farming.
