  • Wine of the Week: Rich and minerally with spicy fruit.

  • The nose is all warming spice and briar, plummy fruit with a touch of tobacco. On the palate it is savoury and dry, but there's a core of liquorice-tinged fruit there, and nicely grippy tannins and acid adding some backbone. Decent bangs per buck here.

  • Fresh on the palate, it is packed with almost Pinot Noir-like crunchy-berry fruit flavours that give way to a surprisingly complex nature and really spicy finish. A terrific price for such an interesting wine.

  • I loved the bready zest their current  Orleans Borbon, Terrebreva NV Manzanilla...Extremely pale. Strongly bready/yeasty flor nose-very fresh. Briney and nicely sculpted on the palate. Very juicy and appetising with pungent finish. What could be more moreish? Just the job for summer, or those whose appetites need a fillip.
