"The 2018 Margaux is the current vintage of a wine that has delighted readers before. This has the exact same gum aura as earlier incarnations and is charmingly scented and aromatic, with plenty of ripe, dark bramble fruit on the palate. A fine example of a splendid vintage, it's more than drinkable now but will certainly last."
Jonathan Ray, The Spectator Magazine
With 2018 hailed as a magnificent vintage in Bordeaux, we were determined to source our brand new Margaux from the same cru classé property in this world-class appellation as the sell-out 2015 and 2016 (both great vintages). Here is a cuvée of great finesse with balanced layers of rich red fruit made primarily of merlot and a touch of cabernet sauvignon. Absolutely delightful when drunk young, it will also easily go for another 10 or more years in your cellar.
