Ophélie Rosé, Cellier d'Eguilles, Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 2021
A new rosé from the Côteaux-d'Aix-en-Provence to complement our fine range of rosés from Provence,one that unmatched by any other UK merchant. The vineyards around Aix-en-Provence are the most northerly and the highest above sea level in Provence and are known for producing high quality salmon-pink premium rosés. The beautiful village of Eguilles is 10 km west of Aix and the Celliers d'Eguilles was founded in 1923 with a small band of local growers who, through several generations of those same growers, have been making lovely rosés almost exclusively for the French market ever since. Their rosés have never been seen in the UK before.
