Sacrifice Rosé, Domaine de la Navarre, Côtes de Provence 2017

We have a beautifully pale pink Provence rosé which represents some of the best value rosé we have found in the region in a long time. Located at the foot of the Massif des Maures, the Estate has an incredible history and is today a school and training centre which is funded by the sales of their brilliant wines. This is a very high-quality, pale and fresh rosé - we were amazed after trying it when they gave us the price.

Our Tasting Notes

Fresh, crisp, pale and fruity, this is a rosé which goes very well with seafood, salads or as an aperitif with your tapenade and anchovies. Beautiful elegance and a long-lasting finish, ideal and very high-quality rosé.

For years, the Domaine de la Navarre has produced its wines using traditional methods. The Estate was first acquired in 1789 by the Navarre family and since 1868, it was used as an orphanage before becoming a Salesian House under Don Bosco. Domaine de la Navarre acts as a college, training centre and encompasses an 80-hectare vineyard which funds these brilliant causes. The property is nestled between the hills of oaks and pines, on south-facing vineyards amongst flower meadows.
