In this mixed case you will receive two bottles each of the following wines;

Margaux 2020
The 2020 Margaux is a class act indeed. Really quite showy, but also sophisticated and serious with profound dark berry fruit aromas. With a little time in the glass alluring notes of exotic spice emerge. Plush, supple and complex on the palate with a warm, almost luxurious depth of cassis fruit. Rich in texture with ripe, juicy tannins, whilst the finish has classic Margaux perfume and noticeable freshness.

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2021
A very open, expressive style of Saint-Émilion. Bright ruby in colour with warm red fruits to the fore ripe cherry, damson and wild strawberry, along with a subtle, spicy woodsmoke note. Very fresh, warm and easy-going with an almost sweet, fruit coulis edge to the intense red fruit character. Luscious, and almost crunchy in texture with soft, very well-balanced tannins. A very friendly, and highly drinkable style. (Feels like quite a splash of cabernet franc here).

Pauillac 2018
The oldest red here, but still very deep in colour perhaps the biggest, most serious wine of the range. Five years maturation adds a notable polish to the striking cassis fruit with secondary notes of cedar and spice gradually emerging. This is benchmark Pauillac with an appealing combination of ripe black fruit flavours and fine grained tannins. Real poise and presence here, with a rich, chewy finish.

Saint-Julien 2021
Another very pretty, expressive 2021 with pronounced blackberry and plum aromas and an underlying green-leaf freshness. Positively glowing, with attractive perfume, warm, sweetish autumn-berry intensity and subtle herbaceous notes. A little more merlot here than the other medoc appellations- with luscious texture and no hard edges. Finishes with a dash of smoky spice and appealing chewy richness.

Saint-Estèphe 2020
Saint-Estèphe is Bordeauxs cabernet heartland, and the hallmark cassis, cigar box and cedar aromas shine though here. Also evident is the warmth of the 2020 vintage, with ripe, supple black berry fruit flavours, firm grip and leafy, herbaceous notes. Quite a serious claret, with very classical styling. Rich, powerful and impressive.

Pomerol 2021
The latest addition to the range, and a very worthy one. Lots going on here in this fine expression of Pomerol deep, dark and profound with striking spiced black plum and damson fruit and an exotic, ethereal perfume. Plump and plush in texture with fine tannins, and layers and layers of flavour blackberry, mocha, grilled meat, roasted coffee and spice. Absolutely singing.
