Made in Verona by a leading Catina, this wine is made of blend of 40% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 2 years before its release, this wine has incredible depth and complexity. Fantastic with any meats.
The use of some non-indigenous grapes means that the wine cannot be labelled as a specific appellation even though all the grapes are from the Verona region.
Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks with a small amount of dried grapes added for extra depth and complexity (similar to Amarone approach, but only a small amount).

Our Tasting Notes

Trastullo Rosso has an intense ruby colour; a nose of cherries with a hint of plum; the palate is velvety with sweet blackberries, ripe, cooked plums and black cherries.
