Until I remembered what I was tasting I thought it was a fine Alsace Pinot Gris, so rich and satisfying is it, but then the typical Burgundian Chardonnay notes flooded through on its long, dry finish."

Our top-selling white Mâcon-Péronne is made by the Rousset family, who have been making wine in Péronne, just to the north of Pouilly-Fuissé, since 1889.

Low yields and cooler conditions made for a thrilling combination of concentration, intensity, power and structure - a combination showing beautiful expression in Jonas Roussets hands.
