There's an element of delicate spice and minerality with a creaminess, almost buttery character to the finish which completes with a cleansing citrus zing. The finish is lengthy, warming and complex. Lovely ruby red sheen, real purity and freshness. Aromas of red berry fruit, plum and raspberry, notes of coffee and tobacco, a touch of truffle perhaps and herbaceous element on the finale. On the palate equal complexity with rich, red-berry fruit leading evolving to darker berry, gentle spice and oaky nuance.
