We are delighted to introduce Domaine de la Baume's Merlot cuvée, a red that encapsulates everything great about the wines of Languedoc - including great prices.
I first tasted it just after Christmas and knew immediately that this was both a wine I would buy myself and one we should offer to our customers.
La Baume's is a sumptuous merlot with a bigger, richer character than you would normally find in Bordeaux. It has structure, suppleness and plenty of warm, ripe plum and damson fruit. A most delicious and very drinkable red.
