Château Lauretan, Cadillac Cotes de Bordeaux 2017 (magnum)
Quite a polished wine for this level. Deep ruby colour perfumed aromatic cassis fruit on the nose - pretty and very 'typique' for 2017. Forward in style with bright, expressive sweetish black berry fruits. Nice richness and texture on the palate with grainy tannins and an appealing luscious, earthy finish. Largely merlot, with a little cabernet sauvignon and franc - organically grown.
