In his 2022 vintage, a masterclass in how careful barrel-ageing enhances Burgundy's iconic varietal so exquisitely. Where this warmer year's ripened flavours are so elegantly framed by true freshness and finesse - qualities undoubtedly rendered by cooler vineyards amidst Limoux's higher elevations.
And with Bruno's seamless integration of French oak into the fold, here are finely balanced aromas of spring blossom, clove, roasted hazelnut, brioche and vanilla, followed by a luscious core of apricot, peach and pear fruit on the palate. Clean, citrus-fresh, lingering long on the finish, the 2022 shows again how Barrique Blanc gets only better and better with each vintage.
