Arlaux Champagne Premier Cru, Grande Cuvée
Its no mystery why we never manage to keep the exquisite, single-grower Champagne Arlaux Brut Grande Cuvée in stock for long. Certainly not when considering its exclusive, 100% Montagne de Reims Premier Cru vineyard origins, nor the gloriously honeyed, toasty notes and finest of fine mousses they contribute to (Jonathan Ray, The Spectator).
Nor when seeing Robert Parker rate Arlauxs cuvée superior to those of both Bollinger and Taittinger at a blind tasting some time ago. (Where, allegedly, he never did manage to find his knocked-off socks...).
Here's a premium, hand-crafted, Premier Cru Champagne showing a level of expressiveness and finesse those bigger labels would ask you rather a lot more for. Up to £15 a bottle more, we would average. We cannot urge more strongly that you act now to enjoy what is so popular in some of the finest restaurants in France.

I bought half a dozen bottles of the Arlaux for my sister in law's birthday party. Having worked for a big London bank in a senior role, her tastes are refined! The Arlaux did not disappoint, and everyone who drank it said how much they liked it. A really good, classy champagne which you could share anywhere with confidence. The expert tasting notes on the Arlaux page give a good and reliable shorthand description, but it is well worth trying for yourself. I've ordered another 6 bottles!
