The Gonon family have been producing this Saint-Véran for around 25 years and this know-how makes for a delectable chardonnay that is full of citrus and sweeter green fruit such as pear. The wine has great complexity and a crisp, clean finish.
Mâcon-Bussières, Domaine Gonon 2022
Domaine Gonon make this delicious Mâcon at the foot of the celebrated limestone escarpment Solutré (pictured) that dominates Pouilly-Fuissé. Vines have been grown there since Roman times and by the monks of Cluny through the Middle Ages and the wines are always highly prized.
Mâcon-Péronne, Domaine du Bicheron 2022
A delicious, hand-crafted, old vine white burgundy made by the Rousset family in Péronne, just to the north of Pouilly-Fuissé. It is delightfully fresh, well-balanced and complex, a rare find considering the tiny harvests in recent years.
