Mâcon-Péronne 'Vieilles Vignes', Domaine du Bicheron 2021
The new 2021 vintage of our top-selling white Mâcon-Péronne is back in stock. It's made by the Rousset family, who have been making wine in Péronne, just to the north of Pouilly-Fuissé, since 1889.
And how good was the 2021 vintage?
For white Burgundy in particular, simply sensational. Low yields and cooler conditions made for a thrilling combination of concentration, intensity, power and structure - a combination showing beautiful expression in Jonas Roussets hands. Which is why we fully expect their Mâcon-Péronne to be our best-selling white wine of the year - yet again.

Extremely drinkable, my go to white. (previous vintage)
For someone who prefers less minerality in their white burgundy and a fuller, flavoured type, for the price this is a winner. (previous vintage)
My favourite regular white burgundy. Evocative and rewarding, has the steeliness, depth and class to accompany great fish/seafood and a wonderful aperitif wine too. (previous vintage)
Delicious - more of a hint of tropical fruit than most white Burgundies but still with an underlying acidity. (previous vintage)
Very drinkable. I do not have the olfactory vocabulary needed to describe a flavour. It is enjoyable, though. (previous vintage)
