This fine white Burgundy comes from the Gonon family's vineyards at the foot of the celebrated Solutré limestone escarpment that dominates the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Now in the hands of fifth-generation brothers Pierre and Jean Gonon, this is a domaine with deep roots in the region.
The 2024 is ripe and inviting, combining intense citrus and more tropical fruit with a creamy texture and delicate biscuity note. Generous without losing freshness, it's an extremely versatile white Burgundy and, as Jonathan Ray puts it, “truly classy”.
