Viogniers from Rhône

The Rhône's viogniers suit the richness of Autumn superbly and are what I want to be drinking in this lovely season. Difficult to grow, viognier nearly disappeared in the '60s and '70s, but is now extremely fashionable with Condrieu its highest expression. Here are two of my favourites.
