"The 2020 Whispering Angel is glorious and ready to drink the moment you get it. Again, its wonderfully pale but don't let that mislead you into thinking its lacking in character. Far from it, for it's beautifully poised with red Grenache and Cinsault combining perfectly with white Vermentino to give freshness, ripeness and creamy succulence. There are plenty of citrus and wild strawberry notes and it finishes refreshingly dry.

Oh and do take advantage of the fact that Esme has managed to get his hands on this beauty in magnums, double magnums, imperials, equivalent to eight standard bottles, and yippee! salmanazars, equivalent to a whole blooming case of 12 bottles. I simply cannot think of a better way of putting two fingers up to lockdown than by having everyone in your address book over for drinks and uncorking a brace or two of these."
Jonathan Ray, The Spectator Magazine

Everything about Whispering Angel is perfection most importantly its taste; dry, crisp - a wine of beautiful balance and gentle aromatic flavours. It sings of the sun and everything we are all looking forward to. It is no surprise that it is the benchmark against which all other rosés are judged as it has, over the past few years, redefined what really good Provence rosé is all about.

A lovely wine in every sense.

How does the wine taste?
Vibrant pale pink wild salmon colour. Very fresh with strong yet restrained aromatic flavours berries and white summer fruit. Good acidity and balance with a mouth watering finish that begs for another glass. It made a cold and gloomy Leicestershire January day seems like Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in June for a couple of hours. Exciting.
