Champagne drinking certainly isn’t getting any cheaper. Which these days typically means paying an average of £40+ for a bottle of off-the-shelf, big-brand (i.e. big marketing budget) champers made from fruit sourced from who-knows-where? across the endless sprawl Champagne’s vineyards. That’s why Champagne Michel Guilleminot’s Brut Tradition remains by far our best-selling bottle of fine fizz. Simply because it surpasses so many major brands in both quality and value. Because for well under £30 you savour artisanal ‘grower champagne’ made of fruit sourced from this small estate’s own vineyards instead of fruit from those of a high-volume grower completely removed from Guilleminot’s site-specific terroir.

Terroir yielding 100% estate-grown pinot noir for a blanc de noirs that undergoes three years of lees ageing (far beyond Champagne’s minimum requirement) and is then disgorged in-house. Terroir that is expressed in delicate floral, citrus, and brioche aromas and on a palate bursting with juicy red-berry and zesty citrus flavours, all complemented by a creamy mousse.

As such, Champagne Guilleminot embodies the essence of la méthode champenoise, providing the champagne enthusiast with the tradition's purest expression. As such, that enthusiast has every reason to take up today’s offer.

How does the wine taste? Customer Reviews (5)
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, giving a fruit-led, yet elegant aperitif-styled champagne. Savour fresh, fragrant fruit on the nose, then crunchy berry fruit flavours that combine with classic, biscuity notes and a gentle mousse. Pure, vibrant.

Must be good, I've ordered it again!! :)

Without a doubt my favourite champagne out of several I’ve recently bought, all of them costing more and in some cases a lot more! I’d love the opportunity to have it every day.It has a fabulous taste, colour and aroma. I hope to have the chance to buy more soon. Is that possible?

Very refreshing although with plenty of crisp acidity to balance the richness.

"First, the Michel Guilleminot Blanc de Noirs Brut Champagne NV, a fabulous fizz from the Vallée de l'Aube. Fresh, vibrant and fruity, with a delicate mousse and a touch of biscuit and brioche, this mouth-filling, 100 per cent Pinot Noir gives many a Grande Marque a run for its money. It certainly beats any supermarket own-label champagne hands down."
"Grab as much as you can of this glorious, tangy, citrus and fresh brown bread-scented, aged fizz."
