Why Château du Raux?
A mature Haut-Médoc from the outstanding 2016 vintage, Château du Raux is classic claret at its most rewarding while being more than reasonably priced. From gravel soils just moments from Saint-Julien, it delivers all the hallmarks of the appellation: soft, mellow structure, cassis-rich fruit and that tell-tale cedar spice. Family-owned for over 150 years and consistently overdelivering on value, this is a Petit Château in name only so much so that Château Ducru-Beaucaillou snapped up part of the vineyard after tasting the 2016. Drinking beautifully now, with years still ahead, its exactly the kind of under-the-radar Bordeaux that savvy buyers seek out.

We aim to deliver your wines within our standard 1 to 4 working days. 90% of orders are delivered within 48 hours. There are certain wines which are on a pre-order status and these are clearly marked on the product themselves and at the checkout stage. Deliveries take place between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
