Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs was awarded the accolade of Sparkling Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge 2018, becoming the first winemaker from outside Champagne to win this award. No expense is spared at the estate, under the Sussex downs, which produces wines of such quality that they leave many 'Grande Marque' champagnes in their shadows, repeatedly coming out on top in blind tastings. Nyetimber is generally thought to be the leading success of the UK sparkling wine scene and we would recommend taking full advantage - it is perfect now and will drink beautifully for many years.
