The nose is one of pronounced citrus, melon and peach, with a backdrop of delicate tropical fruit. The palate is fresh and zesty with soft, fleshy white stone fruit, citrus and melon, leading to a delicately textured, lengthy finish. An indisputable midweek essential as well as a worthy partner to finer dining.
Mâcon-Péronne 'Vieilles Vignes', Domaine du Bicheron 2022
A fresh, nectarine scented nose; richly textured palate with clean acidity, juicy, stone fruit character, mineral streak and a long finish. Very well put together, complex and full white burgundy.
Mâcon-Bussières, Domaine Gonon 2022
Beautiful, traditionally made white burgundy made by 5th generation members of the Gonon family at the foot of the great limestone escarpment Solutré that dominates Pouilly Fuissé.
