"The 2024 Pomerol is new to the ‘defrocked’ range and the only one I’ve neither managed to taste nor identify, the sample held up by infuriating bureaucratic paperwork. The previous vintage from the same estate, though, had vanilla, fresh and stewed plums, spice and, gosh, even a touch of dark chocolate on the nose and I found it deliciously easy-going in the mouth, all succulence and fine acidity. I’m assured this is just as fine."

Discover Our Newest Declassified Pomerol
Pomerol has long been one of Bordeaux's most sought-after appellations, renowned for producing some of the Right Bank's most distinctive and richly textured wines. Our latest declassified addition offers a particularly interesting way to explore the appellation without the usual château price tag.
The previous vintage from this same estate impressed Jonathan Ray with its generous plum fruit, subtle spice and beautifully approachable character. While the 2024 has yet to receive his own tasting verdict, we're delighted to include it in our declassified collection, continuing our search for fine Bordeaux with genuine pedigree and outstanding value.

We aim to deliver your wines within our standard 1 to 4 working days. 90% of orders are delivered within 48 hours. There are certain wines which are on a pre-order status and these are clearly marked on the product themselves and at the checkout stage. Deliveries take place between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
I've long liked good Bordeaux and the Pomerol 2022 is no exception. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it on Christmas Day, so a hit with everyone. Highly recommended.
